Longtime Alessi collaborator Alessandro Mendini looks to the storied heritage of France's literary and artistic scenes in the Proust collection. The designer journeyed through France to see significant places in author Marcel Proust's life and became aware of a connection between the writer and the Parisian Pointillists, using a reinterpretation of a particular detail taken from a painting by Paul Signac to create these layered, three-dimensional polka dot-prints. The print is seen here on these blown glass baubles, adding an expressive edge to your festive decor.
