Orchids have always played a huge role in Alexander Mc Queen's world, manipulated to represent humanity's obsession with idyllic beauty. While casts of real flowers have featured on runways in the past - with Spring/Summer 2015 being overwhelmed by the blooms - the House has instead chosen to mark this sweater with an intarsia knit orchid formed of nine-colour thread embroidery.
