If you take a step back in fashion history to 1995, you'll find yourself on the front row of the late Alexander McQueen's springtime fashion show, ‘The Birds'. The first look was accented with a sculptural necklace, the cross-bar, a motif that current creative director Seán McGirr uses throughout the Autumn/Winter 2024 collection as a reference to that seminal moment in culture, one of his favourites from McQueen's archives.
