When Edgardo Osorio founded Aquazzura in 2011, he toyed with naming his footwear brand after himself, but something spoke to him from the deep recess of the psyche where muses live. Aquazurra translates literally to 'blue waters' and captured the spirit of la dolce vita he envisioned for his label, which has now expanded beyond handmade shoes to include pieces like this carafe from the Aquazurra Casa line. What could be more fitting than to name one of the first collections Dolcevita, after that initial flash of authentic genius over a decade ago, to provide the world of luxury lifestyle with a sense of joie de vivre?
