In the 1930s, Manchester-based company Baracuta developed the G9 style which consequently took off to become a staple of British designs known as the Harrington jacket. Staying true to its heritage, Burberry's iteration is rendered from cotton gabardine - a fabric first used by founder Thomas - and accented with an Equestrian Knight Design embroidery for subtle branding.
