The traditional penny loafer is their muse, which is illustrated with a whimsical effect through the placement of gold-tone coins in their upper, while contrasting patent leathers create a Parisian-leaning, graphic look. Please note, Christian Louboutin's signature red lacquered soles will wear out when tried on a hard surface other than carpet; this is normal wear and tear and is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.
