Gallery Dept.'s approach is intertwined with the DIY fashion scene of its home of Los Angeles, in particular the upcycling of vintage clothes sourced from the city's famed markets. The Cornell La Flare jeans encompass that approach: beginning with retro Levi's 501s, the House re-constructs each design with a flared leg, lambskin lining and unique distressing, leaving no two pairs the same.
