Gucci has a long-standing habit of utilising House codes from its archives throughout its designs. Take the iconic horsebit, based upon equestrian hardware, it was first used on the horsebit loafer, then it accessorised the brand's bags. Now, creative director Sabato De Sarno has utilised the icon on a pair of jeans, a style which has proven to be a staple of the Gucci wardrobe.
