It was in 1967 that IWC Schaffhausen's first truly waterproof watch, the Aquatimer, arrived on the horology scene. Since then, there have been numerous reinterpretations of the original model, each even more impressive than the last. The Aquatimer of the modern era - like the automatic model found here in stainless steel - is defined by a 300-metre water resistance, with an uncluttered and distinctive dial curated specifically with deep diving in mind.
