The Portugieser is a well-established icon of IWC, dating all the way back to 1939. This iteration, launched at Watches &amp, Wonders 2024 in Geneva, represents a refresh of the heritage model with a reworked case and box-glass sapphire crystals at the front and back. The crux of the difference, however, comes in the form of its intricate dune dial, which is crafted with 15 layers of transparent lacquer, finely ground and polished to a high-gloss finish for a three-dimensional effect.
