JW Anderson's eponymous founder did not originally plan to design clothes. However, while making moves to become an actor, the Northern Irish designer became enamoured with the vibrant costumes he was surrounded by and decided to change paths. An element of costume is still a signature characteristic of many of the label's contemporary creations, as seen on this mini skirt through the contrasting ruffled hem.
