Considering La DoubleJ's heritage as an Italian label with a home city of Milan, it seems fitting that it's turned to the storied Medici family for inspiration for its Autumn/Winter 2024 collection. A famous posthumous portrait of a young woman from the Medici line shows the Renaissance fashions of the time, including a certain cushioned headband that created an elegant crown atop her dark hair. This iteration is equally as opulent, the velvet jacquard made from a mixture of wool and silk.
