Lanvin's original motif was inspired by a photo of the founder and her beloved daughter Marguerite in matching outfits while attending a costume ball in 1907. It's delighted fans of the House since its inception, evolving into a lettered logo, which was first seen in 2001, and elegantly tapping into the trends of the time with Parisian flair. It adorns the exterior of the small MM tote bag we see here, realised in an embossed finish.
