Inspired by the female recruits of the 1940s Land Army in England, the starting point of the capsule is Vita Sackville-West's writings on the story of the Land Girls, their uniform consisting of workwear-inspired pieces that the label updates with earth-tones and structured silhouettes for modern glamour. Take the Corte wide-leg trousers, for example, featuring side pockets referencing the practical, utilitarian aesthetic of carpenter and cargo trousers but finished with double waist darts that provide a pleated, tailored finish.
