The classic driving shoe has an unsurprising history: in 1963 the first iteration was designed to provide drivers with an alternative to their formal shoes, as a way to avoid wearing out the soles. Fast-forward seven years and Tod's introduced its own version, complete with its signature 133 rubber pebbles - or gommini - which this pair still sport, except they've been sized up for a statement-making look.
