The House took inspiration for the logo seen on these slides from the ruins in the Reggio Calabria area, where the Versace siblings used to play as children and spotted the image of Medusa on the floors. Inspired by Medusa's ability to prompt an inexorable love, Gianni Versace decided to incorporate the image into the label he hoped to have the same effect on its audience.
