Houndstooth is a distinctive design formed by weaving two tones of wool together, mimicking the shape of a tooth - hence the name. The pattern, utilised in this sleek coat by Vince is also referred to as 'pied de poule' or 'foot of the chicken', shepherd's check and border tartan.
