Back in the late 1980s, Vivienne Westwood was deeply immersed in clan folklore and Highland regalia, coming up with couture silhouettes rendered in tartan for the label's Autumn/Winter 1993 collection ‘Anglomania'. Having been recognised and included in the Scottish Register of Tartans, the label's romance with the check fabric continues as evidence by this fringed scarf.
